That’s something ‘ve never consider.. Why everything is “made in China”. Did you know that it’s not because of the cheap workforce at all? China is the only country with the biggest amount of the rare earth natural resources: look, lanthanum that we have in the battery of IPad, oxid of cyrium that is commonly used to polish the screen of the phone.. What is interesting ! they don’t allow to export this materials outside. The annual requirements of this materials are more than 136 thousands tonns. That explains why we got so many Chinese customers here in Maldives. For those who understand russian language - here is the article. For the rest - google translator Probably in Chinese !

"HAPPY NEW YEAR - 2014"

There are people who watch the clock every now and then while they are at work. They want to get everything at the same time: the life always seem to be outside and it’s never an enjoyment just to seat in front of your computer for the whole day.

People who work in the tourism and hospitality industry have to seat in front of their computers and calculate the costs not less than the bankers. Every day the hotel / travel company produce the revenue and all the transactions have to be coordinated.

It is just few hours left before the most awaiting holiday of the year that connects the round small globe with the one very special moment. This new year , people who works at the hotels don’t even have a second to see what’s the time is now.

They are busy.

The habit of procrastinating vacations’ planning until the very last minute still exists. Imagine a german family who wants to go for Maldivian vacations right after meeting new year.

They come to the regional office on 31st , telling to the modest travel agent: ” I have to fly tomorrow”

Impossible. No flights, no rooms, no staff to greet them on arrival.

Everything is possible.

The agent starts to search under the strong pressure .The hotel reservations never sleep.Front office is deadly tired with the arrival . The financial controllers are working to transfer the payment while all the banks are closed.. Food and beverage - the toughest department have to work more than ever.

Numbers, numbers, numbers. That’s how it is.

People , money, food, working hours. Everything counts.

Luckily, the people from the hotel are different from all others. They don’t have time for themselves , they work hard and often paid much less than they should.

Why they are different?

They never see people from the point of revenue.

The room boy or the General Manager .. Both feel a need to serve people. To give them the best present ever possible.. They give us the memorable moments. Special moment spent with your loved ones during new year is the best gift ever recieved. It can not be spoiled with an ugly set up of the bed or with the food that doesn’t taste well.

We all work for you.

We ready to give.

Happy new year 2014 and let this moment be very special for all of us.
